Ka'anapali is a historical district, located just south of the Lokelani Condo Resort. Despite being an area of only about five square miles, it is still recognized as one of the hottest tourist locations in the world. There are nearly a limitless amount of activities to enjoy in Ka'anapali. There are an assortment of gourmet restaurants like the Koala Seafood and Barbeque Buffet or Tia Juana's Beach Cantina. Nearby you'll also find the Ka'anapali Golf Course. The Ka'anapali Golf Course is a historic 1,200 acre, 36 hole course. It hosts such prestigious events as the The Canada Cup, the Kemper Open and the Champion's Tour Classic. And best of all, the course has recently been renovated to improve its play.
If championship level golf isn't to your liking, then you may rather spend your time at Ka'anapali's beach, which was voted as the best beach in America, in 2003. Here you can kayak, sunbathe or surf. And if surfing isn't enough for you adrenaline junkies why not take a trip on the Ka'anapali Skyline Adventure. With the Skyline Adventure you'll be taken across eight ziplines above Maui's picturesque landscape.
You can also enlist the services of Gemini Sailing Charters. They offer sunset sails, whale watching cruises, snorkel sails as well as private charters. And make sure you don't miss out on the Whalers Village Museum. You'll get to see how life was as a whaler during the 1800's. Checkout one of the world's largest scale models of a whaling ship, and their great collection of ornaments and carvings made from whale bone and teeth.
